I know working out can be hard, intense and a complete drag when we just don't feel like it or have a bazillion other items on our "must get done list", so I am here to help make fitness more fun with this fun Ashanti Workout Routine!

If you want to get fit and love Ashanti; then this workout is for you! Ashanti is the ultimate go-getter and the Queen of Bikini Season. Getting fitness tips from Ashanti's personal workout routine can only bring us closer to loving the fitness journey more and more right? 

What’s Ashanti’s Secret

I did some research to find out exactly what one of Ashanti's workouts include and found a golden workout with all the "after burn" fixins! Go ahead and say goodbye to your stubborn calories because this workout is FIRE. Here is a great article that offers some great pictures of Ashanti and explains how each exercise can help you build a booty like Ashanti.

5 Ways to Burn Fat Naturally: Stay Fit + Keep The Weight Off Without Exercise

Hello, Wellnista!

I hope you are doing great! I just counted the days since my last "real" workout and it has been 2 months!

Obviously exercise is important but after surgery, sustaining injury, or giving birth you may need to bench some methods of physical activity.

I had my surgery in June and realized right before my procedure that I wanted to keep my body healthy, keep my weight down, and my mood as healthy as consistent as possible for best recovery outcomes. After researching and testing, I found the methods below to be GOLDEN for keeping my weight steady and maintaining my health and recovery outcomes naturally.

The methods below worked great for my surgery recovery and I encourage this method for general health purposes as well. *Please consult with your doctor should you need advice regarding intermediate fasting specific to your personal health.

The 5 Methods for Fat Loss, Weight Loss, and Increased Energy

  • Apple Cider Vinegar Drink
  • Intermediate Fasting
  • Coconut Oil Coffee Latte 
  • Whole Food Meals
  • Supplements (optional)

1. Apple Cider Vinegar Drink: Every morning I drink 32 oz. of Apple Cider Vinegar to cleanse my body and increase my energy reserve for the day ahead. I also alternate between fresh lemon juice and lime juice to enjoy different drink variations and combinations.

2. Coconut Oil Coffee Latte: Every morning I make a delicious coconut oil coffee latte that has enough calories for my body to feel nourished from the time I wake up until I have my first meal (3 Hours). The Latte also helps boost metabolism and manage sugar cravings and hunger cravings.

3. Intermediate Fasting: I eat all meals between 6-8 hours in the day. I generally found that eating between 10am-6pm was the best match for my appetite. Somedays I would feel even less hungry and would fast within a 6-hour window. And if I still felt hungry outside of my eating window, I ate because I was hungry, but was cautious to avoid over eating. My meals after my fasting schedule were smaller portions and generally fresh fruits or veggies, or protein.

4. Whole Food Meals: I primarily eat a whole Foods diet including fruits, veggies, lean protein (fish, beef, chicken), nuts, seeds, and some dairy (cheese). I try to eat in a routine pattern to help my body process food more evenly. Generally that means:

  • Liquids until 10am
  • Breakfast
  • Snack
  • Lunch
  • Snack
  • Dinner by 6pm
  • Supplement

5. Supplement: I have been obsessed with Keto OS Supplement packets. They help the body reach ketosis within an hour of taking the supplement. They work best on an empty stomach at the beginning or the very end of the day. I loved drinking mine at bedtime because I would often go into a deeper stage of sleep and feel more rested in the morning.

Hi, Queen Wellnista! I hope you are doing great and feeling inspired and magical.

A quick question for you: Do you have a health or wellness goal?

Understanding these questions is super important because, if you can determine which phase your wellness goal is currently stationed, you can also start to build a path forward to the next phase.

In my work as a Wellness Coach, I've noticed a theme of 3 main phases and behavior groups attached to wellness and health goals relating to emotional balance, weight loss, depression, and anxiety management. The three phases are categorized as beginner, intermediate, and advanced goal development. Each phase has a set of likely behaviors that happen or can happen in each phase.

Also, it's important to say:

The goal phases may have overlapping behaviors between the adjacent phases (beginner to intermediate or intermediate to advanced) and that's okay.

You can and should use your internal wisdom to determine what is best and appropriate for moving forward to reach your health and wellness goals.

You determine when you are READY to reach any goal, feeling pressured, coerced or forced will not create any enjoyment or long term goal progress.

This guide was created to be a help and support for wellness and health goal progress. 

One more thing!

If you find yourself having a hard time reaching your health and wellness goal, it may be time to dig deeper and ask yourself what benefits may be connected to you NOT moving forward with your health or wellness goal. What makes you comfortable to stay in the goal phase you're currently at?

How to Start A Health & Wellness Journey: Create a Weekly Health & Wellness Routine, and FREE Incentive Map Worksheet

I wanted to share my top 5 tips to begin or refresh your health and wellness journey. We all have goals and different things we want to work on or improve in our lives. Why not make our attempts and efforts as impactful as possible no?

I have been on different and reoccurring health and wellness journies and I've picked up some great lessons to share to save your time and energy for reaching your goals. Working smart instead of working harder is a real thing.

5 Tips For Starting A Health + Wellness Journey

1. Identify your goal: make sure it's a goal that YOU are choosing for yourself. If it's not a goal that's coming from your own heart, you are not as likely to keep the motivation requirements to reach the goal successfully.

2. Identify "WHY" you want to work on the goal: Get clear on why you choose the goal, what does it really mean to you to master the goal? How will you feel? How will your life be improved by the goal?  This step is what determines your motivation level to achieve the goal versus wishing to achieve the goal.

3. Identify the first step for your goal: decide what you must do in order to take a small step toward your goal. What is one small action you can take daily or several times weekly toward the success of your goal? Building a routine is about building practice and with practice being mastered you are creating a habit, then when the habit is mastered, your actions can become a lifestyle.

4. Practice + Refine Your Strategy: Get into the action of practice. It's completely okay to make mistakes but the idea of practice is that you continue to learn from those mistakes in order to keep your overall momentum towards the big goal. Remind yourself of your "why" when you feel nervous, anxious, scared, or frustrated and keep going.

5. Create an Incentive Map: goal tracking is essential, track your progress on a weekly basis to keep your mind and your actions connected to working on your goal. Being that we are human, it is helpful to also create an incentive or reward for reaching the small milestones of your goal.
