21 Day Plant Based Nutrition Guide

Okay so to begin, let’s talk nutrition. I’m a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and my practice includes helping my clients start a Plant Based diet lifestyle for best health outcomes. A Plant Based Diet is a method of eating primarily plants as a main food source including vegetables, fruit, Beans, legumes, Seeds, and Whole grains. The Plant Based diet can include small amounts of meat but no more than 2 oz. of meat is recommended for daily consumption. The Plant Based diet does not include dairy, processed foods, or sugar. The Glow Method 21 Day Meal Plan is packed with delicious recipes that are easy to make and delicious to eat. I made sure each recipe would be user friendly, quick and simple for beginners.

21 Day Fitness Plan Guide

As a Certified Personal Trainer a majority of my clients are women with work schedules, mothers, daughters, friends, partners, and happen to live a full schedule with meaningful responsibilities. The 21 Day Fitness Plan is designed to be easy to follow with daily home workouts that feature strength building (weight lifting) or endurance building (cardio). The weekly plan provides an option for a 20 minute or 30 minute workout. The home workouts are scheduled for 6 days a week with 1 rest day/ day off per week. If you are strapped for time you can split your workout into two smaller sessions per day to keep working the program. It’s still my firm recommendation to workout first in the morning before starting the other parts of your day for an energy advantage.

I Coached Beyonce's Daddy Lessons Song - Support From A Real Wellness Coach

Hello Beautiful Wellnista,

I'm so excited to start a new series which brings Wellness Coaching to a whole-nother level. In the ICoach series I pair popular songs that highlight an important emotional experience and then provide my best support and advice as a Whole Health Holistic Wellness Coach and Clinician.

Episode 1 of ICoach is dedicated to: Beyonce "Daddy Lessons"

My Summary of Daddy Lessons:

A young girl is raised by her father is taught to be strong, tough, and take care of her family. In some aspects she had difficulties with some of the life lessons he provided "It wasn't alway right, Daddy made me fight".

In adulthood the girl turned woman reflects on the tension and gifts held within her interpersonal relationship with her father. Her father warned her that men like "him" would come into her life and to "shoot" or avoid them. The woman's relationship with who her dad was during his life and who she loves also seems to be woven into the song's message. The ultimate message appears around letting go and being strong and recalling what her father taught her. 

Quote From Daddy Lessons: "Daddy made a soldier out of me".

Emotions Under The Lyrics:

Sometimes in life, we get used to being a strong tough girl (Pillar of Strength), or always having to be ready for people to disappoint, threaten, or fail us. Being tough and prepared is okay up to a point but once you reach the phase of losing enjoyment in your relationships or environment, it's time to take a step back and evaluate the overlap.

Tips and next steps:

1. Find a safe space. Create rest from practicing the role of "Pillar of Strength". You deserve balance and if you create spaces where you can move freely you will feel more freedom, connection, and  positive energy. Generally when we feel safe in environments is when we are able to be the most present version of ourselves.

2. Let your guard down: Practice being vulnerable. Cry, admit when you make mistakes, try something new that will help you step out of " Pillar of Strength" character. This can be something as simple as taking a new class, or sharing something with a trusted friend that makes you feel vulnerable. Or ask for help, this is usually pretty difficult for "Pillar of Strength" personality types.

3. Think about why you feel like this way: Is there something you are avoiding? Is there something in this experience that you enjoy? There is usually an answer for both. You might be avoiding chaos of the unknown or feeling emotionally weak and in the very same experience appreciate being a pillar of strength because it provides a sense of control... just some ideas.

4. Think about what facts or emotions validate this feeling: Is there any factual information from your experience that is enabling you to be in "Pillar of Strength" character? Maybe your family or friends encourage you to lead because then they will get to coast if your in charge. Or maybe you get good feedback from your friends and family when you act as the "Pillar of Strength". Again, just some ideas.

*These are suggestions for general consideration, my coaching suggestions will vary based on individual client context and detail.

Chrysophrase Stone: Benefits, How to Use, Chakra Placement, Healing Tips

Hello beautiful Wellnista's,

With so much positive and curious feedback regarding the Crystals 101 Series, I thought it would be useful to continue to share detailed and instructional information for Crystal Healing Personal Practice.

All of the stones I share about individually; I have also personally used in my practice and feel more knowledgeable to share benefits, how to use, chakra placement, and additional healing tips and discoveries from practice.

What is Chrysophrase?

Chrysoprase Stone is a beautiful rich milky green apple aqua colored stone with flecks of nickel from the family of Chalcedony Quartz (Cryptocrystalline in type). Chrysophrase was named and identified in Greece for its "Chrusos" (Gold) "Prasen" (Leek) coloring. Chrysophrase is often sourced in Oregon, California, Arizona, Russia, Brazil, Australia, and South Africa.

Benefits: 

Chrysoprase is reported to increase personal emotional and physical balance. Chrysophrase is reported to remove negative energy, thinking patterns and general internal emotional detox. Chrysophrase is great for anxious mood, depressed mood and, general mood balancing energies. Chrysoprase is said to increase emotional purification, self-esteem, self-trust, emotional protection, judgment-free self-love, balance, calm and relaxation.

How To Use:

There are many ways to use crystals for healing and energy treatments. Crystals are great for personal adornment via jewelry. Wear your crystals and keep them close on your person. You can use crystals for your home space adornment. Decorate a space in your home with crystals for an energy boost. You can also use crystals for personal meditation or during self-hypnosis. Place the crystal on the appropriate chakra during your personal session for an energetic boost during your practice. In addition, crystals are also wonderful sleeping companions. Place your crystal under your pillow to increase energetic refreshment while you sleep. 

Chakra Placement: 

Solar Plexus (at the arch of your rib cage) and Sacral Chakra (Just below your navel).

Healing Tips:

To use crystals for healing personal practice it is recommended that you create a space to acknowledge the crystal energy.
