Today’s post is all about feminine energy and sensuality which is something I have been researching and personally exploring as a goal for the year. When I posted my last video about feminine energy I received a lot of feedback on others also wanting to reawaken their feminine energy. A popular request from the last video was on how to transition in the evening. I’m still experimenting with this for myself and how to create a feminine evening routine but what I can tell you is that my morning routine has three steps to activate the sensation of being connected to being a woman and expressing that.
Fragrance
I have personally noticed that as a mom I have not been putting on perfume or fragrance oils on a consistent basis especially during the pandemic when I’ve been inside the house a lot. When I wake up one of the first things I do as part of my morning routine is to put on fragrance oil. I put it behind my ears, on my neck, my wrists and in the crook of my elbow. After I put it on I enjoy the aroma of whichever scent I have put on. I find this a good time to do some positive self-talk as well. Self-talk is when you are verbalizing who you are in a positive way and self love is when you’re thinking it. Positive self thought is just as effective. When I’m putting on my fragrance I tend to think thoughts such as “you’re going to have a great day today”, “you’re going to crush it today”, etc. Whatever things you are wanting to cherish about yourself should be what you focus on as you are applying your fragrance. This helps me to feel more connected.
Clothing
Another key thing that I’ve been doing is selecting and wearing clothes that make me feel happy. I’ve been wearing a lot more pink lately. Pink is a color that I have been incorporating in my capsule wardrobe and color palette. I really enjoy wearing certain colors more than others which help activate the sensation of feminine energy. Another plus is that it saves tons of money as you don’t buy things that don’t align with your color palette.
Jewelry
I also enjoy putting on my jewelry as part of my routine because it makes me feel happier, feminine, adorned and loved. There are a few pieces I always gravitate towards especially necklaces. I’m almost always wearing a necklace but I’ll also wear a few bracelets as well as rings. As I put my jewelry on I like to think it helps activate the feeling of femininity.
Although these things may seem like little or insignificant things they really have been making a difference in my ability to feel more feminine and tap into my sensuality more. I hope these tips helped and inspired you to think of ways you can incorporate activities that activate your feminine energy. There are lots of ways to infuse your day with femininity and sensuality using your five senses which in my opinion is what sensuality equates most closely to.
