Wellness Coaching is unique because, you can improve more than your emotional health and physical health with support. Wellness Coaching is overlaps with Life Coaching, and Self-Care Coaching, it depends on your goals. Wellness coaches may also go by titles like Health Coach, Self-Care Coach, and Life Coach.

When you work with me, we’ll use a holistic approach for your emotional health practice by pairing holistic wellness coaching with holistic nutrition coaching, fitness coaching, and support for your improved whole health outcomes. 

What Happens In A Session

In our Wellness Coaching session, we’ll first focus on clarity of your needs, barriers, fears, progress, strengths, and actionable opportunities. Once the clarity and organizing portion of the session closes we will transition to review your actionable opportunities (home work) based on the clarity discoveries made in your session. At the close of your session, we will review your wellness plan for the oncoming month of implementation and practice ahead. Additionally, you’ll have access to support via email and text for questions, concerns, or emergencies in-between your coaching sessions.

Monthly Accountability & Tracking

When you work with me, I encourage and support your weekly accountability sessions and tracking for coping and self-care practice paired with your one 1:1 60-minute “live” session each month. We’ll ensure your wellness plan and support is customized to your personal work and home needs. You’ll also receive “fine tuning” support as needed via text and or email as needed.

Additionally, taking time for your own needs sooner than later can also prevent or reduce long-term stress burnout and potential health risks.

I’m committed to making Wellness Coaching services affordable for clients. Brandi offers a “Super Bill” for Wellness Coaching reimbursement with your employer and insurance provider (California Residents). Additionally, a sliding scale offering is made available to students, individuals experiencing unemployment, single parents and seniors 65 and over.

 

What if My Problems Don’t Change Or Improve With Wellness Coaching?

Yes, Wellness Coaching can be helpful to address your emotional and health needs with dynamic approach. The wellness coaching support model we use is intended to encourage increased awareness and coping practice that is consistent to make your results permanent. Our wellness model helps you get results while considering that you have other life responsibilities and limited free time.

The Wellness Coaching Model we use is effective for successful results for our clients that consistently practice using their custom wellness plan recommendations. Brandi Jackson Wellness clients are supported within a judgment free, confidential, and encouraging environment to work through challenging wellness goals with extended support.

 

Is Wellness Coaching The Same As Traditional Therapy?

Wellness Coaching is slightly different than Therapy in a few key ways. The first big difference is; your wellness Coach may not diagnose you with any mental health disorder or illness ever as only a Licensed Therapist or Doctor can diagnose a Mental Health Illness or disorder.

The second big difference is that Wellness Coaching is normally reimbursed only via your employer-based HSA’s or paid for as an out of pocket expense similar to having a gym membership or going to get a massage. Wellness coaching is not traditionally covered via medical insurance providers. Another key difference for Wellness Coaching is that client’s can work with a wellness coach outside of their state of residence and even internationally. Therapist need to be licensed to work with clients in the state of their licensure.

Wellness coaching may include holistic nutrition, holistic physical health, interpersonal communication health, and metaphysical health recommendations if considered essential for client health and wellness recovery optimization. Clients may choose to opt-in or out of any recommendations or suggestions provided in session. Here at Brandi Jackson Wellness, we feel great value for educating clients to all available emotional recovery strategies that support their wellness and health.

Do you exclusively only work with Women For Wellness Coaching services?

Not at all, I work with adult women, men, couples, families and individuals who identify as LGBTQ or gender non-conforming persons of different races, ages, backgrounds, and experiences. However my client base for Wellness coaching is primarily Black Women who identify as ambitious and who also have interest in health and wellness recovery practice. As a Black Woman and Wellness Coach, my lived experience is also present in how I understand my client’s personal experiences and concerns in session. It’s important to acknowledge who I serve as it is also informs where my experience and skill set has been in practice more directly.
