I recently experienced all of the standard cold symptoms listed above. My wellness journey has been about using more natural methods in all parts of my life, so I decided to avoid conventional medications and use natural remedies exclusively to cure my cold.
The plan worked and the results were amazing. After day 3 of using the remedies listed below, I felt like my cold was pretty much completely gone! Around day 4 I felt completely recovered!
Below I share 5 remedies that really work and FAST:
Take Zinc: Improves immunity, digestion, inflammation, decreases salt and sugar cravings, and fatigue.
I took Zinc tablets every 2-3 hours for the first 2 days of my cold.
Drink Healing Wellness Tea: Drinking wellness tea will help to increase hydration to flush out toxins, regulate energy, mood balance, increased digestion and treats headaches and body aches.
I drank at least three 32 oz. servings of wellness tea daily. I used my favorite tea; Mind Body Tea. I love the Mind Body Tea because it has Catnip Leaf, Chamomile Flower, Holy Basil and Lemon Balm Herb. The Mind body tea ingredients are packed with healthy antioxidants and nutrients that work overtime to increase immunity, enhance mood and increase focus and restful sleep. The Mind Body Tea can be found in the Wellness Lab Shop (link in menu bar).
Take A Detox Bath: Detox baths are great to manage symptoms of a cold. Taking a detox bath can help flush out toxins, boost immunity, increase mood balance and energy.
I took 2 baths in the span of the 4 days I experienced cold symptoms. I have been loving the Detox Queen Bath Bombs. The Detox Queen Bath Bomb is packed with activated charcoal, bentonite clay, kaolin clay and lavender oil to soothe and increase cellular turnover. The Detox Queen Bath Bombs can be found in the Wellness Lab Shop (link in menu bar).
Eat Clean: Avoid carbs, dairy, and high sodium foods. Eat more green leafy veggies, fruit and veggie smoothies. Broth based soups, fresh fruit, fresh veggies and drink water. This is the best time to eat cirtus fruits to increase vitamn C.
Elderberry Syrup: An all natural cold and cough syrup made from dried organic elderberries, lemon peel, echinacia and local honey. I share the recipe in the newsletter, be sure to sign up!
These have been wonderful methods to help me through the cold season.
