How is your focus? How do you feel your focus is doing on a scale of 1-10?
Just last week, I found myself multi-tasking and while multi-tasking, I physically ran into a woman while grocery shopping. The woman looked at me with complete confusion as to why I did not see her. I apologized and thought about what happened. Obvi, I did not see her because I was so busy multi-tasking that I forgot to look where I was going. No one was injured but the interaction served as a reminder to fine tune my focus and concentration.
We All Have Phone Syndrome:
A part of my multi-tasking habits that I'm letting go of includes my use of my phone/ mini computer. I use my phone for multi-tasking for weekly business needs and my personal contact with friends and family. Now It's time for me to launch a schedule instead that will work to meet my goals; while still keeping a healthy distance from my phone. Maybe for you, it's something different that is fogging up your focus; but the benefit of clear concentration remains the same. When you have clear focus, and clarity you productivity will sky rocket.
The first step that helped guide my focus and concentration regimen was to build a meaningful Mantra. My favorite mantra currently is to ask myself "what is in front of me right now"? This phrase gives me the space to think about the answer to my question and to return to my assigned task or goal.
What is a Mantra?
A phrase or singular word that is either verbalized or memorized internally and repeated over and over until you create a rhythmic point of focus and concentration.

Use the 5 W's & H:
Who, What, When, Where, Why & How
In your meditation session think about the 5 W's and the H questions to increase the detail of your visualization and you will notice faster results with a deeper evaluation of your focus and concentration needs.
